Beginning in Tangier and concluding in Marrakech, this 8-day journey traverses Morocco from north to south, taking in the country’s most iconic destinations along the way. From Tangier’s historic medina and the legendary Hercules Cave, the route winds through Chefchaouen’s famous blue-washed streets before reaching the imperial city of Fez, then continues south across the Middle Atlas mountains to the golden dunes of the Merzouga Sahara Desert. The journey then follows the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs through the dramatic Todra Gorge and Boumalne Dades, past the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and over the High Atlas via Tichka Pass, finishing with an afternoon city tour of Marrakech. The tour includes a private vehicle, local guides in Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fez, and Marrakech, accommodation in hotels and a luxury desert camp, daily dinners, lunches throughout, a sunrise camel ride in Merzouga, and all airport transfers.
Arrive at Tangier Airport, where you will be met by your guide and transferred to the city. You will enjoy a sightseeing tour of the medina, then check in to your hotel. Enjoy free time before dinner at the hotel.
After breakfast at the hotel, your driver will take you to visit Cape Spartal and the Hercules Cave. You will then stop at a local restaurant for lunch before transferring to Chefchaouen. Check in to your hotel and enjoy free time in the afternoon.
Start the morning with a guided walking tour of Chefchaouen, covering the medina, Outa Hammam, and the Spanish Mosque. Return to the hotel for breakfast, then transfer to Fez with a lunch stop at a local restaurant in Ouezzane. Arrive in Fez for an afternoon sightseeing tour covering Borj Sud, Bab Boujloud, the tanneries, Quaraouine Mosque, the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss, Madrasa Attarine, Nejjarine Fountain, and the souk. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before checking in to your hotel with medina views.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will transfer to Merzouga with a short break in Ifrane and a lunch stop in Midelt. Upon arriving in Erfoud, you will switch to a 4x4 vehicle for the final leg into the desert. Arrive at the luxury desert camp in Merzouga for dinner and an overnight stay.
Rise early for a sunrise experience in Merzouga followed by a camel ride, then return to camp for breakfast. Transfer by 4x4 back to Erfoud and continue by private car toward Ouarzazate via the Todra Gorge. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant at the gorge, followed by a short walk, then proceed to Boumalne Dades to check in to your hotel and enjoy dinner.
After breakfast, transfer toward Marrakech with a short stop at Kelaat M'Gouna. Continue to Ait Ben Haddou to visit the famous kasbah, then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Head on to Marrakech, stopping at a panoramic viewpoint on the Tichka Pass. Arrive in Marrakech for an afternoon sightseeing tour covering Koutoubia, Jamaa El Fna, and the souk, then check in to your hotel or riad.
After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to Marrakech or Casablanca Airport for your departure flight.
