Beginning and ending in Casablanca, this comprehensive 11-day tour covers Morocco’s most celebrated cities, landscapes, and cultural sites in a single sweeping journey. The route travels south along the Atlantic coast to El Jadida and Essaouira, then inland to Marrakech before crossing the High Atlas to Ait Ben Haddou, Ouarzazate, and the Todra Gorge, continuing into the Merzouga Sahara Desert and then north through Fez, Meknes, Volubilis, Chefchaouen, Tetouan, Tangier, and Rabat. Highlights include a Fantasia dinner show in Marrakech, a Sahara sunrise over the dunes, a full-day walking tour of Fez, a visit to the Roman mosaics of Volubilis, and a combined excursion to Tetouan and Tangier including the Cave of Hercules. The tour is operated by private coach with local English-speaking guides, accommodation in hotels, riads, and a Merzouga desert camp, and all meals throughout.
Arrive in Casablanca and meet your guide at the airport terminal. Begin a city tour by private coach, including visits to the Hassan II Mosque, the Old Medina, Place Mohammed V, and the Royal Palace. Transfer to Rick's Café for dinner, then check in to your hotel.
After breakfast, depart for El Jadida by private coach. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the old city on foot, stopping at the souk and the church. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue to Essaouira, taking in views of argan trees along the way. Arrive in Essaouira for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Essaouira, stopping at Skala de la Kasbah, Bastion Nord, and the Medina. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then depart for Marrakech, arriving in the late afternoon. Transfer to your hotel, then enjoy dinner at Chez Ali with a Fantasia show.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day city tour of Marrakech with morning visits to the souk, Djemaa el Fna, the Koutoubia Mosque, and Bahia Palace. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then depart for Ait Ben Haddou. Upon arrival, visit the famous kasbah and enjoy a walking tour of the site. Continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, depart for Tinerhir to visit the stunning Todra Gorge. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Erfoud along the Route of the Kasbahs, then transfer to 4WD vehicles for the drive to Merzouga. Arrive in time for sunset over the dunes. Dinner and overnight at your camp.
Rise early to enjoy the sunrise over the dunes, then return for breakfast. Depart Merzouga by 4WD to Erfoud, stopping at a Berber tent along the way, then transfer to the private coach and continue to Midelt for lunch. Continue to Fez via Ifrane, with a short stop in the alpine town of Ifrane. Arrive in Fez for dinner and overnight at your hotel or riad.
After breakfast, enjoy a half-day walking tour of Fez el Bali with your English-speaking guide, visiting Bab Bou Jeloud, Cherratin Medersa, Place Nejjarine, the Nejjarine Museum, Attarine Souk, Kairaouine Mosque, and the Tanneries. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then continue with a half-day tour of Fez el Jedid by coach and on foot, visiting the Royal Palace, Grand Rue de Fez el Jedid, and the Mellah. End the day with a panoramic view of Fez from the hilltop at sunset. Dinner and overnight at your hotel or riad.
After breakfast, depart for Meknes. En route, enjoy a distant view of Moulay Idriss. Visit Bab el Mansour, Place el Hedim, Heri, Bassin de l'Agueda, Dar el Ma, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then visit the UNESCO World Heritage archaeological site of Volubilis, famous for its preserved Roman mosaics. Continue to Chefchaouen for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Tetouan and Tangier. In Tetouan, take a walking tour of the medina. In Tangier, visit Cap Spartel, the Gran Reserva Natural de Tangier, and the Cave of Hercules, then explore the Kasbah and walk from Terrasse Borj al-Hajoui to Grand Socco through the medina's narrow streets. Enjoy lunch at a seafood restaurant in Tangier. Return to Chefchaouen for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, enjoy a morning walking tour of the Chefchaouen medina. Depart for Souk Elarbaa Du Gharb and stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Continue to Rabat for a sightseeing tour including the Jardin de Oudaya, Palais Square, and the Mohammed V Mausoleum. Transfer to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, depart Rabat by private coach to Casablanca Airport for your departure flight.
