Beginning and ending in Marrakech, this 9-day journey through southern Morocco traces a sweeping arc across the country’s most dramatic landscapes, passing through the coastal city of Agadir, the historic medina of Taroudant, and the saffron-producing valleys of Taliouine before descending into the Sahara Desert. Highlights include an overnight camel trek to a desert camp in the Chegaga dunes, a sunrise over the Sahara, a stop at Lake Iriki, a visit to the ostrich nature reserve in Mhamid El Ghizlane, and an exploration of the Tamegroute Quranic library in Zagora. The route continues through Ouarzazate, where you visit the Kasbah Taourirt, before reaching the UNESCO-listed Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, and then crosses the High Atlas Mountains via Tichka Pass back to Marrakech for a full-day guided city tour. Throughout the tour, accommodation is provided on a half board basis in hotels, riads, and a desert camp, with lunches at local restaurants, transport by private 4×4 vehicle, and an English-speaking guide from arrival to departure.
Upon arrival at Marrakech Menara Airport, you will be welcomed by an English-speaking guide. You will then depart by 4x4 vehicle for Agadir, enjoying a scenic drive through changing landscapes. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel, relax, and enjoy dinner.
After breakfast, you will explore Agadir on a guided sightseeing tour, visiting the Agadir Port, the historic Kasbah Oufella with its panoramic views, and the Ensemble Artisanal showcasing local crafts. After lunch at a local restaurant, you will travel to Agadir Inoumar for a short visit before continuing to Taroudant, often called "Little Marrakech" for its traditional charm. Upon arrival, you will check in, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Following breakfast, you will depart towards Taliouine, famous for its saffron production, where you will visit a saffron cooperative and learn about its cultivation. You will continue to Ifri Imadiden for a short sightseeing stop, then head to Tazenakht for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will travel to Foum Zguid, passing palm groves and stopping for photos along the way. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel or guest house, followed by dinner.
After breakfast, you will head towards the Chegaga Desert. On the way, you will visit a nomadic tent and enjoy traditional tea, followed by a photo stop at Lake Iriki. Lunch will be served in the desert. You will then continue to the camp, where you will meet camel handlers and enjoy a one-hour camel ride across the dunes to reach camp. After arrival, you will have dinner and spend the night in the desert.
You will start your day early with a beautiful desert sunrise, followed by breakfast at the camp. You will then transfer toward Zagora, stopping to visit the ostrich nature reserve in Mhamid El Ghizlane. After a photo stop at a palm grove, you will arrive in Mhamid for lunch. In the afternoon, you will continue toward Zagora, visiting the Ouled Driss Museum and then Tamegroute, where you will explore the famous Quranic library. Upon arrival in Zagora, you will check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner.
After enjoying the sunrise and breakfast, you will depart for Ait Ben Haddou. On the way, you will stop briefly in Agdz, then continue to Ouarzazate for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the historic Kasbah Taourirt before heading to Ait Ben Haddou. Upon arrival, you will check in at your hotel and enjoy dinner.
After breakfast, you will explore the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou on foot, discovering its unique architecture and history. You will then travel back to Marrakech via Tichka Pass, enjoying stunning mountain views, with lunch at a local restaurant along the way. Upon arrival in Marrakech, you will stop at Jamaa El Fna square before checking in at your hotel. In the evening, you will enjoy dinner at a local restaurant with a traditional belly dance show.
After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day guided sightseeing tour of Marrakech, visiting Madrassa Ben Youssef, Bahia Palace, the Medina, Jamaa El Fna, and the Menara Gardens. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. You will return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
